Sick kids! ER visit!

My kids have both been hit by sickness over the weekend.  Brooklynn came home from school after having bathroom accidents.  She has consistantly run a fever, had bouts of diarreha, and bouts of throwing up.  Meemaw got the worst of it when she was hit with Brooklynn's vomit while sleeping!  Mom and Vince had come down for the weekend with the intention of watching Brooklynn's bastketball game on Friday and have a late celebration for my birthday.  None of which happened!  We were fortunate enough to have them here Saturday night so that Heath and I could still go out for dinner on their treat.  It was a great meal!  Carrabbas always is!!! 

Braxton started having a running nose Saturday and slowly developed a cough.  I started giving him albuterol that afternoon but come Sunday morning he was over the limit for breaths per minute with his ribs showing while breathing...so that landed us in the ER for 4 hours just to get drugs pumped into his body.  Now he is wild man who is overly sensitive while on his 5 day steroid dose.  Not to mention we are stuck in the house with Brooklynn's sickness and now an ice storm!  Talk about cabin fever!  Hopefully this will meet their sick quota for the winter!  We were blessed with having my parents here so that they could stay home with Brooklynn.  It drove Heath nuts to be in the ER and things seeming "normal" meaning no blood gushing or broken bones...and boy was he ugly about it!  He gave the nurses a bigger stink than Braxton did!  Here is little boy in his ER room.
