Family Photos

We had a photographer, Mare Pasley, come to our home a week or so ago to take some pictures.  Here are a few for Christmas but you can find the rest on our shutterfly sharesite (link above on blog).

A day with our cousins...

My brother and his family are in the process moving to New Jersey where Benjamin will travel to Manhattan to work each day.  We were lucky that they came by for one last visit to Indy before their big move.  Aimee and I took the kids (minus Brooklynn who was in school) to the Children's museum.  They had a good time and it wore them out for a good nap!  Here are a few photos of the kids at the museum.

The next day the whole crew (minus Benjamin who was working) went and ate lunch with Brooklynn at school.  We took up an entire table!

We will miss seeing them about once every month or two.  Braxton has gotten pretty attached to his cousins.  Every time we have friends over and I tell Braxton that some kids are coming over and the first thing out of his mouth in Kenley and Nolan?!  And when he is asked his age he even tells everyone that he is 2 but Nolan is 3.

Precious Moments

I was working on the computer for a few minutes and noticed the eery silence.  Usually this means that Braxton is up to no good!  However once I peeked my head around the corner my heart melted.  Braxton was laying on Brooklynn on the couch as she stroked his hair and watched karaoke Christmas songs on UVerse.  So of course I had to get some video and a picture to share the sweetness!  The video isn't very good but I had to keep my distance in order not to jeopardize the situation!

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!

Brooklynn's writing teacher, Mrs. Marshall, pulled her 2nd front tooth today at school.  Her 1st front tooth still hasn't come in yet from late October, so she is toothless in front!  We hope to record her singing the song to make a great Christmas memory this year!

Halloween Parties

On the day before Halloween we had 3 Halloween Parties to go to!  The kids wore their costumes the entire day (except during church).  Here are a few pictures from this day.

Brooklynn wanted to be a thief from out west
We all loaded up for a hayride at the Nichols Farm
The horses ran over to us during the hayride to see what we were up to

A big thank you to the families who invited us to be a part of their party.  We had a great time!

Just a few fall pictures

Here are a few pictures from random things this fall

Braxton still gets asthma flare-ups regularly - the kids cuddle during his breathing treatment watching a video
Braxton playing with his new tool bench and accessories - one of his birthday presents
Burying Molly behind our shed after her viscous death
Saying a few words about Molly
A before picture of the pumpkins

I was supervising the pumpkin carving while cutting coupons
One finished pumpkin (Braxton was adamant about wearing his bike helmet).
Ta-da!

Headless Horseman

Bailey family with our neighbors Pam, Dwayne, and Carson

Our neighbors had tickets to the Headless Horseman at Conner Prairie and invited us to come along.  So we bundled up the Saturday before Halloween to go check it out.  We first grabbed a bite to eat at Five Guys - love their burgers!

The kids were bundled up and ready to go!

I guess Carson was really the Headless Horseman!

Pam and I made some funky music

Although it was cold it was a gorgeous night!
This creepy house was where we loaded up to go on the hayride.
We weren't allowed to take any flash photography in order not to scare the horses.  It was truly a neat thing  to see the Headless Horseman run towards you in the dark upon a horse.  Other than that it was your typical Halloween decorations with random people jumping out to scare you.  I would recommend going to experience it just once.

On our way out we saw this station wagon and had to take a picture for Aunt Lissa....it screamed her name!

Brooklynn's Class Fall Party

The last Friday in October Brooklynn's class had a fall party which was open to family.  We were all able to go and participate in the fun.  There were 6 stations set up each with a different activity ranging from food to goo!

A special treat table
A table to scratch designs in fall shaped cut-outs.
A table where they made "goo"

We've noticed that Brooklynn seems to be extra sweet to her brother when we are at her school.

We snagged some great pictures of our family too!
